Target has just released images of the full Phillip Lim collaboration, and I'm pretty pumped.

100% Obsessed.
It's that time of year again! So, naturally, I'm planning what I'll be wearing for the holidays. After hours of brainstorming and research I landed on a red silk swing dress. Of course I don't know that one exists, I just know that it would make the most adorable outfit if paired with opaque black tights and moto boots. To start my quest I went to ShopStyle.com, which is, for all intents and purposes, the Google of shopping. I mean, you can literally put it anything you want and then sort using relevant filters. It's basically my favorite site ever.
So, anyway, here I am searching for my swing dress when the most unexpected of results pops up.
I mean, it's not at all what I was looking for, but do I care? No. No no no no NO. It is a.ma.zing. I feel like it's Little House on the Prairie in the Orient. Sooooo fantastic.
Jil Sander Navy, you complete me.
The only hold up is that it's $2,220. ugh.
<dreaming>*cough*hint*cough*Christmas idea anyone?</dreaming>

Lookback: NYFW Spring 2013 (Part 1)
The Spring 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York was certainly one to remember! From collections focusing on the feminine silhouette, to sheer textiles and 60's throwbacks, not to mention the return of the pant, it was certainly a week to remember.
Why oh why is Spring so far away?!
Check out some of my favorite looks to see what it's all about!

With a Twist!
First, sorry for the hiatus, but due to some complications post surgery, the only clothes I've been around have been hospital gowns. Womp womp. Luckily, I'm back and feeling much better!
For my first post back, I've decided to try something a smidge different. Instead of my standard wish list items, I'm going to share some pieces that have actually found a home in my closet!
Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores. So, it's needless to say that when I got an email with 'SALE' in the header, I was all over it. I found this dress, by Leifnotes, and instantly fell in love. Sadly, it's not on their website anymore, or I would include a link.
I cinched it with it with the Roxanne Thin Rose Gold Plate belt by Nicholas I got the month before from ShopBop. For the record, I am in LOVE with this belt. I wear it with absolutely everything, and get tons of compliments every time. Since I was walking around the city, I opted for a cute pair of Prada flats. I got these on super sale from Nordstrom Rack about a year ago, and still heart them just as much today. Also pictured is my Effie Satchel by Mulberry. I carry it with me everywhere, so you'll undoubtedly be seeing it again. Last, but certainly not least, I enjoyed the one sunny Seattle day without squinting thanks to my Rory sunnies by Kate Spade, featured in an earlier post.
So that's a wrap for this test post! Maybe it'll be just the beginning...

The Hiatus is Over!
After taking some accidental time off, I purchased something so fantastic that I HAVE to share!
I'm now the proud owner of the aMAzing Theory Arlinda dress in Suede, available at Saks.
I tried it on, but didn't buy it. Then, after over a week of obsessing, I couldn't resist!
They didn't have it in my size on the site (or any site, for that matter) so I chatted to an associate via the website and had him search the inventory. Lo and behold, he was able to locate one nearby and have it shipped to me!
Divine intervention, right?
Now if only it would arrive a little sooner...

Who knew it was possible to love an entire line?
Not Me. Until now!
This dress is just one example of the perfection that is the Theyskens' Theory collection! Obsessed yet? Check out Theory's site to see more!

Flight of the Monarch
Minus the feathers at the top of the dress... this is just so amazing!
I was walking around with the bf in Seattle, and spotting this in a window! I am absolutely in love, which is new to me since I'm normally not particularly adventurous when it comes to...well...anything? The dress isn't on her website, so I just googled "luly yang monarch," and, tada! If you want to check out the rest of her collection, bop by her website.

I Normally Reserve Ruffles for Bed Skirts...
But I'm making an exception!
This Marchesa dress is beyond pretty! Bright pumps or black skyscraper heels will help make this dress pop.

I Never Knew What Ikat Was Until Now...
but I already adore it!
Above is a super fun dress from Madewell that doesn't break bank! With such a versatile shape, I can't decide where to wear it first.........

If only I had $4590.00 (plus tax + shipping)....
then I would buy this dress.
This Valentino dress is just beyond perfection, and I love it with a bold color heel! Too bad you really can put a price on perfect, and it's way out of my range.
