My Sunglasses were Stolen!

So, I guess I'll have to buy new ones!
Last week, the boy surprised me by recreating our first date--so sweet!  After dinner we headed back the car, only to find it had been broken into!  At first we only noticed the broken window and the missing Garmin, but upon closer inspection, my glasses were gone too!  A moment of silence in their memory.

I'm tempted to just buy the same ones, but I thought I would survey competition first.  Take a look at the contenders on my Lyst and tell me what you think!

Did you ever know...

that you're my hero, Zappos?
As you may have read, I found the perfect suede booties to go with my equally perfect suede dress.  
The only problem was that I couldn't find the booties in my size anywhere.  Because defeat is just not an option, I started contacting Zappos (the only store I could find with the item) on a daily basis.  The first few times I was simply told that they didn't have the shoe in, but that I would be contacted if they did.  But, this last time, LeAnn from Customer Service went above and beyond.  Conversation below.

I am so sorry but it does not look like we have either the black or the red in stock in a 6.5 or a 7. At this time we do not have any orders out for it either. I did a quick google search too see if any other sites had it in stock and it looks like Stuart Weitzman does have them.

She searched for my shoes then sent me a link to an alternate seller!  Needless to say I immediately hopped on the site and purchased my shoes.  I am SO excited!  Her minor flub of my first name is totes forgivable.  In fact, I think she deserves a Budweiser "Real American Heroes" commercial in her honor!  I'll have to think on that...

Floral, the Right Way!

Florals are great and fantastic, but only when done correctly.  Otherwise, you end up looking like bad drapes or grandma's duvet.  But this season, they are sooo spot on!  I tested the waters with a pair of skinny lace trousers in black from ASOS.
